How to Have a British Christmas?

 

Level: B1-B2

Aim: to familiarize students with Christmas traditions in the UK; to boost Christmas related vocabulary; to improve listening skills (listening for specific information); to improve writing skills (note-taking)

 

Procedure:

Students first read the questions in the worksheet (see below), then watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2W3QR9WXdA  and learn about Christmas traditions in the UK while completing the worksheet (make sure you allow students enough time to complete the questions by pausing the video every now and then and also using the time during which the video is paused to summarize and discuss the information students have just heard).
